Hi! I'm Alexis. Welcome to my site and thank you for sharing in this dream of mine.

When I was young, my dad nicknamed me "Doodle Bug" (or, more accurately "Lexi Doodly Bug"). From the moment I could pick up a pencil, I was always scribbling on something. Throughout my life, my parents have urged me to do something with the things that I draw. It has been a long road of starts and stops, but with the launch of this website, I am finally pursuing that. Hi Dad!

Everything I draw has been inspired by the natural world--I'm a sucker for a forest mushroom. I'm a climber, rafter, and hiker born and raised in Virginia but currently living in Utah. While my partner and I initially moved to Utah for me to finish my Master Esthetician license, living here has expanded and deepened my love for the outdoors and all that mother nature encompasses. On this website, you'll find a collection of photos I've taken and art I've created along our many travels.
